If a skin isn't selling so well will you guys discontinue updates on it, or should I expect that all current skins will always be updated whenever a new ipb version comes out?

The current skins will be supported for all versions of IPB 3.x
Skins are only (possibly) discontinued when major releases are announced (such as IPB 4.x). I'll decide at that point if any skins will be discontinued.
Nothing to worry about since IPB 4 hasn't even been planned (and won't be for the next couple of years).
